The London Photographic Meetup Group is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, London based photography club with over 2000 members from all over London and beyond. We hold multiple meetings every month; events planned to teach photographic skills with regular workshops, events that take you in and around London to practice your hobby with other members and purely social evenings where we can relax with friends over a beer or two. We are a not-for-profit organisation; all the organisers do this because we love it. None of us are professional photographers and we all have full time day-jobs so this is our hobby too.
Competitions We are looking for members to volunteer being judges for our monthly competitions. If you think that you will enjoy being a judge and can offer commitment to doing this on a regular basis please email back. In order to take part you must have an account on the www.lpmg.org.uk site to keep up-to date with the competitions. When you email back please indicate which of the following categories you would a) like to judge and b) which categories you are likely to enter in the competition yourself. It is important that you provide this information as judges cannot also enter the same competition they are judging in. The categories are as follows:
Black and White, World in Motion, Macro & Close Up, Landscape, Street/Candid, Creative Vision Portrait, At Night.

Events The LPMG.ORG.UK meetup site has all the details of the official events we run. If you would like to join in with these events then pop over and join up. You'll immediately have access to a calendar with listings of all the latest official group events and will be notified of new events by e-mail as they are posted. Along with the official events, we have a number of members who organise unofficial events.
